Governor Bill Lee declared on 3/30/2020 that Executive Order 22 would close all non-
essential businesses across the state of Tennessee beginning at 11:59 PM on Tuesday March 31, 2020 through April 14, 2020. This is part of the state’s “Safer at Home” order that is designed to help limit the spread of the Covid-19 infection that is affecting our state. The Executive Order provided clarification as to what constitutes Essential Services within the scope of this order. Attachment A states that Health Care and Public Health Operations are exempted from this order as they are essential. Specifically stating that “clinics; medical practices and services; ... other health care facilities and suppliers;” are allowed to remain open to the public and provide care at this time.
As such we will continue to REMAIN OPEN and provide quality care to our patients. We will also continue to take all extra necessary precautions to ensure that your safety within our clinic is ensured. We will continue to clean our office and equipment between each patient, limit the number of patients within our office at any time, hand wash after every patient encounter and limit patient time within our clinic at each appointment. Tuesday will continue to be a day that is set aside for our at most at risk patients and we encourage our older and immunocompromised patients to utilize this time for their safety.
